Eve Plumb will lead the cast of the off-Broadway world premiere of James Wesley's dramedy Unbroken Circle. Directed by Jason St. Little, the play will begin performances on May 29 at the St. Luke's Theatre. Opening night is set for June 19.
Set in 1970 Galveston, Texas, Unbroken Circle follows a family brought together for the first time in years on the day of its patriarch's funeral. As the day turns into night, the man's impact on his family unfolds in unexpected and surprising ways. Unbroken Circle explores how abuse and family secrets affect every person in each generation differently.
In addition to Plumb (The Brady Bunch, Miss Abigail's Guide...) as June, the cast will feature Stacey Bone-Gleason (Under Milk Wood) as Cathy, Lori Hammel (Mamma Mia!) as Cheryl, Anika Larsen (Avenue Q) as Edna, Suzanna Hay (Dance of Death) as Ruby, playwright James Wesley as Bobby, and Juli Wesley (Children of Eden) as Patti.
The production will feature set and lighting design by Josh Iacovelli and costume design by Brian C. Hemesath.
