Breakfast at Tiffany’s headliner Emilia Clarke will star in director James Franco’s adaptation of Andre Dubus III’s novel The Garden of Last Days.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is set in a Florida strip club and follows three damaged characters whose storylines intersect on one fateful night. Clarke’s role will be that of a stripper who brings her three-year-old daughter to work on the evening of the film’s events. The film is planning to begin production in July.
Best known from her work on Game of Thrones, Clarke made a splashy debut on Broadway this season in the now-shuttered Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She’ll appear next in the British crime drama Dom Hemingway opposite Jude Law.
