Broadway stars Laura Benanti, Bobby Cannavale and Ari Graynor have signed on as presenters for the 2013 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, presented on May 5 at the Allen Room at the Time Warner Center.
Benanti won a Tony Award for Gypsy and a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for In the Other Room, or The Vibrator Play. Other Broadway credits include The Wedding Singer, Nine, The Sound of Music and Tony-nominated performances in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Into the Woods and Swing! She can currently be seen on the hit NBC sitcom Go On.
In 2011, Cannavale was nominated for a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award and a Tony Award for his performance in The Motherf**ker with the Hat. He is currently headlining the Broadway revival of Clifford Odets' The Big Knife and was seen earlier this season as Ricky Roma in the hit revival of Glengarry Glen Ross. Other credits include Mauritius, Hurlyburly, Trust, Fucking A and A Flea in Her Ear. He earned an Emmy Award for Will and Grace and has appeared in films such as Win Win and The Station Agent. His other TV credits include Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie, Blue Bloods, Modern Family, Cold Case and Cupid.
Graynor most recently starred as Peeps in Broadway's The Performers. Her other Broadway credits include Relatively Speaking, The Little Dog Laughed and Brooklyn Boy. Graynor appeared off-Broadway in Trust and God Sees Dog. Her TV and film credits include The Guilt Trip, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Celeste & Jesse Forever, Fringe and The Sopranos.
Hosted by TV talk queen Wendy Williams, the 2013 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards will also feature appearances by Stephanie J. Block, Sierra Boggess, Jeremy Jordan, Matthew Morrison and Aaron Tveit.
