Fashion Stars! Who Rocked the Red Carpet at the 2013 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards?
Theater stars put on their cocktail party best for the 2013 Audience Choice Awards, the season’s biggest and best party at the gorgeous Allen Room. Who looked especially great on this picture-perfect Sunday evening? Here are details on our five favorite looks, in alphabetical order:
Annaleigh Ashford
The Kinky Boots star and Favorite Funny Performance winner turned to NOVIS, a cool new line of dresses, for a drop-waisted floral mini that earned an admiring shout-out from host Wendy Williams. Ashford accessorized with coral drop earrings from H&M and the pink pumps she wore in the finale of Legally Blonde!
Lilla Crawford
The pint-sized Annie powerhouse and double BACA nominee was the belle of the ball in a glittering deep pink strapless frock by Un Deux Trois. Matching pink shoes and a dazzling silver headband rounded out the ensemble—and of course, this 12-year-old fashion maven is never fully dressed without a smile!
Alan Cumming
Count on the Macbeth star and Broadway.com video blogger to be perfectly turned out for any event, and BACA 2013 was no exception! We adored his futuristic silver suit by Hugo Boss, set off by a simple white shirt, solid skinny tie and a variety of fabulous red carpet poses. Peace, Alan!
Montego Glover
The Memphis alum’s bluesy duet with Orfeh saluting Broadway fans was a highlight of the BACA ceremony. As usual, Glover was also a fashion star in a silvery gray sequined sheath by Eliza J. Nobody can rock a sleeveless dress like this leading lady, who has joined the cast of the CBS pilot Hostages, starring Toni Collette.
Laura Osnes
Osnes, who took home two BACAs (Favorite Actress in a Musical and Favorite Onstage Pair, with her Cinderella co-star Santino Fontana), channeled a princess vibe in an off-white strapless satin cocktail dress by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. Sparkly earrings and bracelets from her own collection completed the look.
