Cinderella Star Laura Osnes Is 'Beyond Thrilled' for Her Double BACA Win

Cinderella sweetheart Laura Osnes had a ball on May 5, when she picked up not one, but two Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards! The Tony nominee went home with the trophy for Favorite Actress in a Musical, as well as a shared win for Favorite Onstage Pair with her Cinderella leading man, Santino Fontana. What a night!

“It’s a beautiful thing, and I’m beyond thrilled,” Osnes told Broadway.com after accepting her award onstage at the Allen Room. “I’m so grateful to our fans for voting and continuing to show their love and support. It’s such an honor to play Broadway’s princess—it’s Cinderella, she’s so iconic!”

As fans have seen in the pair’s Broadway.com video blog, Osnes and Fontana make a great team, onstage and off. “These awards are voted on by fans, which is fantastic,” Fontana added. “It comes straight from people who saw the show—the people we’re really doing this for.”
