Annie Stars Lilla Crawford & Katie Finneran Celebrate All of Their Fan Love After Audience Choice Award Win

Betcha they're young! Betcha they're smart! Annie fans raised their voices to name the show Favorite Musical Revival at this year’s Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, and leading ladies Lilla Crawford and Katie Finneran had nothing but fabulous things to say about the crowds. "All those little girls wearing red dresses and wigs in the audience with their moms and dads—they all voted for us," Finneran said as she gathered with her co-stars backstage.

"We really appreciate how much the fans like our show. It just proves that we’re really making the audiences happy and that they’re really having a great time," Crawford added.

The win also came as pleasant proof that all of the hard-knock life work the cast and creators have been putting into the hit revival has been paying off. "We are so excited that the fans love the show so much to vote for us! We’re very excited," said Crawford. "It just means that we’ve come far and we’ve done a good job and they really enjoy our show."
