Broadway favorites Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins) and John Cudia (The Phantom of the Opera) have put down roots in the country—for the next few weeks, at least! The duo will play iconic lovebirds Laurey and Curly in the Lyric Opera of Chicago revival of Oklahoma! through May 19. Featuring Agnes De Mille's original choreography and a cast of Broadway pros, this revival of a beloved classic is more than just O-K.

Raisin Gets a Remix
Audiences fell in love with straight-A student Beneatha Younger in A Raisin in the Sun—now see the rest of her journey unfold from 1959 to present day in the world premiere of Kwame Kwei-Armah's Beneatha's Place at Centerstage. The play will run in repertory alongside another work inspired by Raisin: Bruce Norris' Tony-winning Clybourne Park. Coined The Raisin Cycle, the one-of-a-kind theatrical experience plays through June 16.

Broadway Alums Tell a Fantastick Love Story
Follow, follow, follow us to California to see The Fantasticks with a twist beginning May 10. The new, carnival-set production stars Anthony Carillo as Matt, Addi McDaniel (who previously starred in the off-Broadway version) as Louisa and Broadway vets Gregory North (Into the Woods) and Perry Ojeda (On the Town) as Hucklebee and El Gallo, respectively. Prisoner 24601 Escapes to Utah
Jean Valjean has gone on the run to Salt Lake City in the Pioneer Theatre Company revival of Les Miserables, starring Joe Cassidy (Catch Me If You Can) as Broadway’s most amiable convict. See Broadway alums Dale Hensley, Michael D. Jablonski, Kevin Vortmann and more storm the barricades in a limited run of the beloved musical, ending June 1.
