“I’ll always remember the year Nathan Lane and Gregory Hines sang a medley of women’s songs. They talk about how women get all the best songs in musicals, and then they sing them. It was brilliant, and it was the first time I found out more about Nathan Lane. I thought, ‘Who is this guy?’ And Gregory Hines was a big influence—I was obsessed with tap dancing a long time ago. It’s just a great, hilarious medley.”
