Broadway Inspirational Voices Sets Summer Date for Third Annual Concert Expect the Great

The Broadway Inspirational Voices’ third annual summer concert Expect the Great will perform June 2 at the First Corinthian Baptist Church, led by BIV founder and director Michael McElroy. Proceeds from the concert will go to BIV’s Educational Outreach Program, which brings music to children in need.

The one-night-only event will feature a number of inspirational songs, including original compositions by McElroy. The Tony-nominated actor will be joined by cast members from shows like Motown The Musical, The Lion King, Wicked, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, The Book of Mormon, Annie, Kinky Boots, Cinderella and more.

McElroy founded Broadway Inspirational Voices in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir, which became BIV in 1999. The show has released two albums, including the Grammy-nominated Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas.
