Kristine Nielsen and Lewis J. Stadlen have won the Actors' Equity Foundation's Richard Seff Award for their respective performances in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and The Nance. The award honors a male and female character actor for the best performance in a supporting role in a Broadway or off-Broadway show.
Nielsen received a Tony nomination for playing Sonia in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Her other Broadway credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, To Be Or Not to Be, Les Liasons Dangereuses, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Green Bird, Jackie and The Iceman Cometh.
Stadlen currently appears as Efram in The Nance. He received Tony nominations for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Candide. His other Broadway credits include The People in the Picture, The Producers, The Man Who Came to Dinner and The Sunshine Boys.
