Tony-nominated Cinderella star Victoria Clark has already won Broadway’s biggest prize for her unforgettable performance as Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza and picked up a second Tony nod for Sister Act. She is also an in-demand private teacher of musical theater performance. In other words, Clark is the ultimate Broadway pro.
But even pros can use fresh inspiration, and Clark offered a lovely assessment of her current castmate and fellow Tony nominee Laura Osnes in a forthcoming Role Call feature for Broadway.com. “Going to work and seeing Laura Osnes, Harriet Harris, Santino Fontana, Peter Bartlett, Ann Harada, Greg Hildreth, Phumzile Sojola, Marla Mindelle and our spectacular ensemble is a joy,” Clark began. “Working with Laura, I have learned what it means to be present and full in the simplest, most joyous way. She is a marvelous scene partner and a great teacher.” How classy!
