Stage Vet John Barrowman Set to Host New ABC Reality Show Sing Your Face Off

Broadway and West End stage alum John Barrowman, get ready to host your face off! The Torchwood and Arrow star has been named the host of ABC’s brand new reality competition Sing Your Face Off, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Barrowman will host the series, wherein five celebrity contestants channel a different iconic musician every week and are ostensibly judged based on the caliber and quality of their impersonations. The lineup of celebs include heavy metal musician (and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner) Sebastian Bach, comic Jon Lovitz, basketball pro Landry Fields, Disney Channel star China Anne McClain and former soap diva Lisa Rinna.

Barrowman is a mainstay of the West End, with an impressive resume that includes Anything Goes, Miss Saigon, Matador, The Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast. His U.S. credits include Sunset Boulevard and Putting It Together on Broadway, Company at the Kennedy Center and a slew of other credits in New York and Los Angeles.

Sing Your Face Off has not set a premiere date, but will most likely bow this summer.
