Jesse Tyler Ferguson Designs Special Tony Awards Bow Tie

Need a special accessory for your Tony Awards party on June 9? Modern Family star and Broadway vet Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his partner, Justin Mikita, have teamed up to create a special edition bow tie for the 2013 Tonys through their new “Tie the Knot” initiative in support of marriage equality. All proceeds will benefit organizations fighting on behalf of LGBT civil rights.

The Tony bow tie (below) is fashioned from textured black silk with subtle silver and royal blue stripes. This limited edition design is available for $25 at www.TheTieBar.com. 

Ferguson is currently prepping to play Dromio in the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of  The Comedy of Errors, which begins performances on May 28. He previously appeared at the Delacorte Theatre in The Winter's Tale and A Midsummer Night's Dream. and on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and On the Town.
