The off-Broadway comedy Potted Potter begins its return engagement on May 30 at the Little Shubert Theatre. Written and performed by Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the show will officially open June 4.
Potted Potters takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes. The show’s dual stars are aided by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and of course a heaping touch of Hogwarts magic. The production also includes an audience-friendly version of Quidditch that even Muggles are encouraged to partake in.
Along with Clarkson and Turner, the Potted Potter creative team features direction by Richard Hurst, set design by Simon Scullion, lighting design by Tim Mascall, with original musical by Phil Innes.
