Two-time Tony winner and 2013 Tony nominee Nathan Lane is making audiences laugh and cry in the moving new play The Nance. On June 3 Lane dropped by Last Night with Jimmy Fallon in hopes of providing more laughter than tears. Lane regaled Fallon with tales of the fear, punishment and blasphemy that came along with growing up Irish Catholic in the Garden State. The guys also explored how being Catholic altar boys prepared them for a life in show business (“Catholics love to put on a show.”). Click below to enjoy Lane on Late Night, and for even more laughs (and some tears), check him out in The Nance at the Lyceum Theatre.
