Award-winning actors Kate Burton, Denis O’Hare and Amy Ryan will join forces to perform a collection of powerful, romantic and funny stories by Dorothy Parker, W.P. Kinsella, Aimee Bender and N.M. Kelby in Selected Shorts on Tour: Springtime, Sex & Baseball. Huntington Theatre Company (winner of the 2013 Regional Theater Tony) presents the one-night-only event on June 8 at Avenue of the Arts/BU Theatre.

Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak returns to Connecticut Repertory Theatre to play the musical-obsessed Man in Chair in the company’s production of the Tony-nominated hit The Drowsy Chaperone, co-starring Tony nominee Liz Larsen. This jazzy tuner is set to run from June 6 through June 15 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre.

INTO THE WOODS FLIES AWAY
The Tony-winning McCarter Theater collaborated with the acclaimed Fiasco Theater on a completely reimagined version of Sondheim’s Into the Woods, featuring just 10 actors and a single piano. (For proof, look at Milky White—played by a real live human!) Check out this innovative adaptation through June 9, and make sure not to get lost in the woods on the way!

CHECK IN TO FAWLTY TOWERS
The madcap fun of the classic British sitcom Fawlty Towers hits the proscenium with Equinox Theatre Denver’s regional premiere of A Night at Fawlty Towers, a stage adaptation of four episodes of the John Cleese-Connie Booth comedy. Through June 15, join Basil, Sybil, Polly, Manuel and more as director Shannon McCarthy brings the slapstick humor to the Bug Theatre.

PARTY WITH DIXIE IN THE HEARTLAND
Campy drag queen Dixon Longate has left the kids at home for the adults-only extravaganza Dixie’s Tupperware Party. The show’s latest stop is at Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars, where outrageous tales, audience participation nonsense and drag shenanigans will take place—you guessed it—under the damn stars!
