Set your DVRs, because the 2013 Tony Awards will be packed with star-studded performances! The June 9 ceremony will feature appearances by the casts of Tony-nominated musicals Matilda, Pippin, Kinky Boots, Motown The Musical, Cinderella, Annie, Bring it On and A Christmas Story.
Additionally, the casts of currently running Broadway musicals Newsies, Chicago, Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages, Mamma Mia!, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, The Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera are scheduled to perform.
Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the 2013 Tony Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall. As previously announced, presenters will include Tom Hanks, Jake Gyllenhaal, Scarlett Johansson, Sigourney Weaver, Anna Kendrick, Zachary Quinto, Sally Field, Audra McDonald, Cyndi Lauper, Jane Krakowski, Alan Cumming, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jon Cryer, Megan Hilty, Andrew Rannells, Matthew Morrison, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jesse Eisenberg, Laura Benanti, Steven Van Zandt, Martha Plimpton, Hal Prince, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Barrett Foa and Mike Tyson.
