Stage and screen star Zachary Quinto, who will make his Broadway debut in The Glass Menagerie this September, was a big winner at the Critics’ Choice TV Awards on June 10. He accepted the trophy for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Miniseries for his performance in TV’s American Horror Story: Asylum. The Critics’ Choice TV Awards were presented at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, CA, hosted by Parks and Recreation star Retta.
Additionally, Quinto’s American Horror Story co-star Sarah Paulson, who recently starred in off-Broadway’s Tally’s Folly, took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries. ABC Family’s Bunheads, starring two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster, was the Thalo Inspiration in the Arts Honoree at the ceremony.
Quinto will star as Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie. He can currently be seen on the big screen in Star Trek: Into Darkness. In addition to American Horror Story, Quinto’s film and TV credits include Star Trek, Margin Call, Heroes, What’s Your Number? and 24.
Paulson has appeared on Broadway in The Glass Menagerie and Collected Stories. Her film and TV credits include Serenity, Down with Love, What Women Want and Cupid. She can currently be seen on the big screen in Mud.
