Back in 1984, Candice Bergen replaced Sigourney Weaver in the original Broadway production of David Rabe’s Hurlyburly. Almost three decades later, these talented ladies are still friends, and Bergen (who returned to Broadway last year in Gore Vidal's The Best Man) headed to the Golden Theatre on June 12 to see Weaver in the newly crowned Best Play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. After the performance, Bergen paused for a snapshot with Weaver and her Tony-nominated castmates David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen and Shalita Grant.
