My Big Gay Italian Funeral, the off-Broadway sequel to Anthony J. Wilkinson’s wacky comedy My Big Gay Italian Wedding, has arrived at St. Luke’s Theatre, with more wild hijinks and zany characters. The sequel, playing in repertory with Wedding, opened officially on June 16, starring Wilkinson, Marissa Perry, Brett Douglas, Donna Castellano, Brian Murphy and more. Directed by Sonia Blangiardo, Funeral picks up where Wedding left off, at the wake of Anthony's father. At the funeral, Anthony is reunited with his gay brother Peter (Murphy) for the first time in more than a decade.
