Tickets are now on sale for the Second Stage Theatre production of Nobody Loves You, starring Rory O’Malley, Leslie Kritzer, Lauren Molina, Heath Calvert and more. The new musical about reality TV dating shows features music by Gaby Alter, a book by Itmar Moses and lyrics by Alter and Moses. Performances begin June 20, with opening night set for July 18 at the Tony Kiser Theatre. Michelle Tattenbaum is set to direct.
In addition to O’Malley, Kritzer, Molina and Calvert, Nobody Loves You stars Bryan Fenkart, Roe Hartrampf, Autumn Hurlbert and Aleque Reid. Nobody Loves You tells the story of a philosophy grad student who auditions for—and is surprisingly cast on—a reality TV dating show in an attempt to win back his ex-girlfriend. But when an unexpected on-set love connection threatens to ruin his plan, manufactured drama collides with real life.
Nobody Loves You features scenic design by Mark Wendland, lighting design by Ben Stanton, costume design by Jessica Pabst, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier, music direction by Vadim Feichtner and choreography by Mandy Moore.
