Girls Star and Broadway Vet Adam Driver Weds Actress Joanne Tucker

Adam Driver married longtime girlfriend Joanne Tucker in a destination wedding over the weekend of June 21, according to UsMagazine.

In his Fresh Face interview with Broadway.com, Driver talked about the positive influence Tucker had on him when he first moved to New York. “She taught me what Gouda cheese is,” he said, “and that you shouldn’t talk with your mouth full and spit on the sidewalk.” In return, he expanded her reading list beyond The New Yorker: “I told her about Rolling Stone and how it could be interesting and entertaining.”

Driver is best known as Adam from HBO's ground-breaking series Girls. He also appeared in the films Lincoln, Gayby and J. Edgar. He appeared on the New York stage in Man and Boy, Angels in America, Look Back in Anger and Mrs. Warren's Profession.

Tucker also appeared in the film Gayby alongside Driver and the short films Loft, I’m Coming Over, After You Left and Party Trick.
