There are only a few bites left of Candice Guardino's Italian Bred. The one-woman comedy, starring and written by Guardino, will close July 2 at off-Broadway’s Theatre at St. Luke’s. Directed by Donna Drake and featuring musical supervision by David Dabbon, Italian Bred originally opened on April 30. The production will head to Los Angeles, CA, this fall. No official dates have been announced.
In Italian Bred, Guardino takes the audience on a journey through her childhood in Staten Island. Having written down everything her loving and outspoken grandmother ever uttered, she combines this unfiltered wisdom with her family’s very Italian and definitive personalities, serving up a generous helping of her own experiences.
Italian Bred features a special guest star during each performance—past stars have included Vincent Pastore, Janine and Dominick Detore and more.
