Tony-winning director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, The Pajama Game) takes on Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford’s historic feminist musical I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road, which is getting a rare revival as the final offering of Encores! Off-Center series. The musical stars Renée Elise Goldsberry as Heather Jones, a divorced pop star attempting a comeback by singing about women’s changing roles and attitudes. With a cast that includes Fred Weller as her manager, as well as Jason Rabinowitz, Christina Sajous and Jennifer Sanchez, I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road runs at New York City Center July 24 through 27.
