Tony winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal), Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spider-Man), Tony nominees Robin De Jesus (In the Heights) and Michael McElroy (Big River) and more stage stars are headlining Twenty-Somethings, an evening of new music featuring up-and-coming young songwriters. The concert will take place on August 12 at the Highline Ballroom in New York City.
Featuring the music of composers Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak (The Quad) and Drew Overcash (Boys Vs. Girls), the evening will also include performances by Richard H. Blake (Wicked), Krystal Joy Brown (Big Fish), Nick Cartell (Scandalous), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal), Corey Mach (Godspell), Taylor Noble (A Lasting Impression), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Preston Sadlier (Next to Normal), Coleen Sexton (Jekyll & Hyde), Kacie Sheik (Hair) and New York-based a cappella group Blackout.
Twenty-Somethings will feature Bobbie L. Crow on cello, Rick Ippolito on bass, Simon Kafta on guitar and Cody Rahn on percussion.
