Tickets are now on sale for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s fall revival of The Winslow Boy, starring Tony winner Roger Rees. The Terence Rattigan-penned drama arrives at the American Airlines Theatre directly from London’s Old Vic. Directed by Lindsay Posner, the show begins previews on September 20 and opens for a limited run from October 17 through December 1.
Rees stars as Arthur Winslow, a father who fights to clear his son’s name after the 14-year-old is expelled from the Royal Naval College for allegedly stealing a five-shilling postal order. Joining Rees are Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Grace Winslow, Tony nominee Michael Cumpsty as Desmond Curry and Alessandro Nivola as Sir Robert Morton.
The ensemble includes Zachary Booth, Spencer Davis Milford, Chandler Williams, Meredith Forlenza, Stephen Pilkington and Henry Russell. The creative team includes Peter McKintosh (sets & costumes), David Lander (lighting) and Drew Levy (sound).
