Missed Bad Jews the first time around? Tickets are now on sale for the off-Broadway return of Roundabout Theatre Company’s acclaimed dramedy, which premiered at Roundabout Underground’s Black Box Theatre in October 2012. Bad Jews will begin previews at the larger Laura Pels Theatre on September 19, with opening night set for October 3.
Tracee Chimo, Molly Ranson, Philip Ettinger and Michael Zegen will reprise their roles in the Daniel Aukin-directed production of Joshua Elias Harmon’s darkly hilarious drama.
Bad Jews tells the story of Daphna Feygenbaum (Chimo), a “real Jew” who clashes with her cousin Liam (Zegen) when he brings home his new shiksa girlfriend Melody (Ranson) and claims ownership over their grandfather’s beloved Chai necklace.
The show features set design by Lauren Helpern, costume design by Dane Laffrey, lighting design by Mark Barton and sound design by Shane Rettig.
