10. Taylor Trensch, Veronica Kuehn & More Shine in Not At This Performance
Broadway understudies get their moment in the spotlight on August 5 in Not At This Performance. This one-night-only concert event features standbys taking the starring roles they prepared for in Spring Awakening, Sister Act, Rent and more. The show features Matilda’s Taylor Trensch, Avenue Q’s Veronica Kuehn, Wicked's Donna Vivino, Paul Castree and more.
9. Ann Hampton Callaway & Liz Callaway Outdo Each Other in Sibling Rivalry
Sibling rivalry never sounded so good as when dynamic duo Ann Hampton Callaway and Liza Callaway team up for a five concert series at 54 Below. The sisters, known for their Tony-nominated Broadway work and successful singing careers, take the stage August 28 through August 31. This limited engagement marks the first time the Callaway sisters perform their acclaimed partner act in New York in over 15 years. 8. Ute Lemper Trades Chicago for Berlin
Longtime Chicago leading lady Ute Lemper makes her 54 Below debut August 14 through August 17 in the Last Tango in Berlin. Over the course of the evening, trace Lemper's travels from Berlin to Paris to Buenos Aires to Manhattan through song and personal stories. 7. Alexander Sage Oyen, Jason Gotay, Zak Resnick & More Take it Moment by Moment
Lose yourself in an evening of musical theater short stories about what it means to be a young adult in today’s world. Told through the songs of Alexander Sage Oyen, Moment by Moment covers love, cults and even McDonalds. The August 31 concert features Broadway veterans Jason Gotay, Mamma Mia’s Zak Resnick, Emma Hunton, Meghann Fahy and George Salazar. Don’t let the moment to see this show pass you by.
6. Submissions Only Goes Live
Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Kate Wetherhead’s popular web series Submissions Only celebrates its season 3 premiere at 54 Below on August 2. The special evening will include an exclusive screening of the first episode followed by a panel discussion and Q & A with members of the cast and creative team. In addition to Keenan-Bolger and Wetherhead, fans can also expect to see series regulars Santino Fontana, Colin Hanlon and Donna Vivino.
5. Tales of Joni Returns in a Big Yellow Taxi
Fans of Joni Mitchell cannot miss the return engagement of the acclaimed concert Tales of Joni. Broadway veterans and cabaret singers come together to pay tribute to the voice of a generation with fresh and emotional covers of some of Mitchell’s popular songs including “Case of You,” “Cactus Tree” and “Both Sides Now.” Tales of Joni transports audiences August 12 and August 29. 4. Commemorate the 44tth Anniversary of Woodstock at 54 Below
On August 15, 1969, history was made in Bethel, New York at the world-famous Woodstock concert. Now, 44 years later to the day, 54 Below transforms into the now-iconic farm to recreate highlights from the four-day concert event. Performers include Norbert Leo Butz, Heather MacRae, Chris Sullivan, KT Sullivan and many more. A portion to all proceeds to go EarthJustice.
3. From Broadway to Brazil, Paulo Szot Does It All
54 Below welcomes Tony Award winner Paulo Szot August 5 through August 11 as part of its 54 Below Celebrates Brazil Series. The Brazilian opera singer seduces nightclub audiences with classic Broadway standards, jazz favorites and songs from his native Brazil. With his powerful voice and warm demeanor, this is sure to be some enchanting evening.
2. Take a Trip Down Memory Lane with Alice Ripley
Tony and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Alice Ripley is giving fans the opportunity of a lifetime at 54 Below. On August 3, Ripley performs numbers from the Broadway shows in which she created roles. For you folks following along at home, that’s an evening of songs from Side Show, The Who’s Tommy, Next to Normal, Rocky Horror and more. The one-night-only concert titled Ripley Reflects also features some of the star’s original music. “It’s Gonna Be Good!”

Olivier Award nominee, Broadway.com Audience Choice winner and all around fan fave Sierra Boggess makes her 54 Below debut August 19 and 26 with the original new show Awakening. Boggess takes audiences on a personal journey about what inspires and awakens her. Expect a slew of Broadway songs, Disney favorites and some opera!
