Future Annie Star Quvenzhane Wallis Enjoys a Broadway Outing at The Lion King

Young Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis is gearing up to star as little orphan Annie in the star-studded, contemporary movie remake of the Tony-winning musical. Before she begins filming, Wallis made a trip to the Great White Way to check out some musical stars in action. On August 1, Wallis took in the evening performance of the long-running, Tony-winning Disney musical The Lion King, and after the show, she went backstage at the Minskoff Theatre to meet the stars, Andile Gumbi (Simba) and Chantel Riley (Nala).
