It's going to be nothin' but a good time for Aaron C. Finley as he makes his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages August 9 at the Helen Hayes Theatre. Finley steps into the role of Drew Boley, an aspiring rocker who works as a busboy in the Hollywood bar The Bourbon Room.
Directed by Kristin Hanggi and featuring a book by Chris D'Arienzo, Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.
In addition to Finley, the current cast of Rock of Ages includes Kate Rockwell, Joey Calveri, Genson Blimline, Adam Dannheisser, Cody Scott Lancaster, Josephine Rose Roberts, Paul Schoeffler, Teresa Stanley, Tessa Alves, Andrew Call, LePage, Michael Minarik, Jennifer Rias, Cassie Silva, Andre Ward and Neka Zang.
Rock of Ages opened on Broadway April 7, 2009, and played its final performance at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre January 9, 2011, before re-opening at the Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011. It received five Tony nominations, including Best Musical.
