Broadway favorites Allison Case, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Jenn Colella will perform alongside members of the LGBT youth shelter Green Chimneys NYC in a one-night-only reading of the new play Not Just Another Coming Out Story, written by Maggie Keenan-Bolger and residents of Green Chimneys. Directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, the reading will take place on August 13 at Speyer Hall at University Settlement in New York City.
In addition to Case, Keenan-Bolger and Colella, Not Just Another Coming Out Story will star Maddy Trumble, Craig Fogel, Jax Jackson, Bianca Leigh, Garrett Zuercher and more. Green Chimneys is dedicated to creating safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual and questioning youth who are homeless or in foster care.
Case last appeared on Broadway in Hands on a Hardbody. Her additional Broadway credits include Hair and Mamma Mia! She stars in the forthcoming film Life of an Actress. Andrew Keenan-Bolger’s Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Mary Poppins and Seussical. Colella will be featured in If/Then on Broadway in March 2014. Her Broadway credits include Chaplin, High Fidelity and Urban Cowboy. Maggie Keenan-Bolger is a teaching artist, who has been collaborating with Green Chimneys for several years. Her additional theater projects include Bridging the Gap, I Love Female Orgasm and The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged.
