Yes, they’re having a good time, and they don’t want to stop at all! We Will Rock You vets Amanda Coutts and Rolan Bell are joining the musical’s long-running West End production beginning October 7. Coutts will return to the role of Meat, and Bell will play Britney. Directed by Ben Elton, the futuristic Queen musical continues at London’s Dominion Theatre.
Coutts first joined We Will Rock You in 2007 as a Scaramouche and Meat cover before taking over the role of Meat in the West End production and Scaramouche in the UK touring production. They join a cast that includes Oliver Tompsett (Galileo), Rachel Wooding (Scaramouche), Brenda Edwards (Killer Queen), Kevin Kennedy (Pop), and Alasdair Harvey (Khashoggi).
