Tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of Sharr White's The Snow Geese. Directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan, the play stars Tony winners Mary-Louise Parker and Victoria Clark and Tony nominee Danny Burstein. Performances begin October 1 at Broadway’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, with opening night set for October 24.
Set during World War I, The Snow Geese centers on newly widowed Elizabeth Gaesling (Parker), who gathers her family for a shooting party in upstate New York. As her carefree eldest son faces deployment overseas and her younger son discovers that his late father left the family deeply in debt, Elizabeth must let go of the Gilded Age life she has always known.
In addition to Parker, Clark and Burstein, the cast of The Snow Geese includes Christopher Innvar, Evan Jonigkeit, Brian Cross and Jessica Love.
The creative team for The Snow Geese includes scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier and projection design by Rocco DiSanti.
