Tony winner Scarlett Johansson, who last appeared on Broadway as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, is engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, according to People.com. Word is the couple has actually been engaged for a month and Johansson’s ring is vintage Art Deco.
Johansson earned a Tony Award for her Broadway debut performance in A View From the Bridge. A four-time Golden Globe nominee, her film and TV credits include Lost in Translation, Hitchcock, Don Jon, Under the Skin, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Match Point, The Nanny Diaries, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Other Boleyn Girl, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Avengers, The Prestige, The Island and Ghost World. As a singer, she released the albums Anywhere I Lay My Head and Break Up. Dauriac is the former editor of the French magazine Clark.
This is Johansson’s second marriage. From 2008-2011, she was married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds.
