There’s nothing like the excitement that comes when you see a Broadway talent wow the crowd on one of TV's popular singing reality competitions. That was the case on the September 12 episode of The X Factor, which highlighted the vocal prowess of Broadway’s Rachel Potter. The Evita and Addams Family veteran introduced herself as a bartender from Nashville looking to break into country music before it’s too late (no mention of Broadway, Ricky Martin or Reba McEntire), and then she performed a country cover of Queen’s “Somebody to Love.” Potter brought the judges to their feet and moved on to the next round of the competition.
