Tickets are now on sale for Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Eric Bogosian’s newest theatrical venture 100 (Monologues), which begins previews on October 1 at off-Broadway’s Bank Street Theatre. Produced by the Labyrinth Theater Company, the series will close on October 19.
Bogosian will read and perform selections from his book 100, which features monologues pulled from each of his six off-Broadway solo shows. Though the selections will differ depending on each performance, the titles Bogosian will draw from include Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee and others. All of these shows were performed between 1980 and 2000, earning Bogosian three Obies and a Drama Desk Award.
If you don’t know Bogosian, you know about Bogosian. In addition to the works above, he wrote the film adaptations of his plays SubUrbia and Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and the TV series High Incident. As an actor, Bogosian has recurred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent since 2006.
