Romeo & Juliet, Starring Elizabeth Olsen & Julian Cihi, Begins Run at Classic Stage Company

Performances of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Julian Cihi as the titular lovers, begin at off-Broadway’s Classic Stage Company on September 28. Opening night is set for October 16. Tea Alagic directs the production.

One of Shakespeare's most well-known and performed plays, Romeo & Juliet is a tragedy about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families.

In addition to Cihi and Olsen, the revival features Emmy nominee T.R. Knight, Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega, Tony nominee Daniel Davis, McKinley Belcher III, Stan Demidoff, Harry Ford, David Garrison, Anthony Michael Martinez, Kathryn Meisle, Dion Mucciacito and John Rothman.

Romeo & Juliet features scenic design by Marsha Ginsberg, costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by Jason Lyons and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
