Start the countdown for Eric Bogosian’s new off-Broadway series 100 (Monologues), which features monologues pulled from Bogosian’s Obie and Drama Desk Award-winning work. The Labyrinth Theater Company series begins performances on October 1 and will run through October 19.
In the series, Bogosian will perform selections from his book 100, featuring monologues that have appeared in each of Bogosian’s six off-Broadway solo shows. The selections will differ depending on each performance, but Bogosian will draw from Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee and more. All of these shows were performed between 1980 and 2000, earning Bogosian three Obies and a Drama Desk Award.
In addition to his plays, Bogosian wrote the film adaptations of his plays SubUrbia and Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and the TV series High Incident. As an actor, Bogosian appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Cadillac Records, Love Monkey, Talk Radio, Blade: Trinity, Gossip and The Larry Sanders Show.
