Rehearsals are officially underway for the New Group production of The Jacksonian, the new drama by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley, and we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek of the cast during on very first day of rehearsal. Directed by Robert Falls and set in Jackson, Mississippi, the play tells the story of a respectable dentist (Ed Harris), who moves into the seedy Jacksonian Motel after his wife kicks him out. But when a murder occurs, the eerie madness of a town poisoned by racism is revealed. Check out this picture-perfect portrait of Harris, Henley, Falls and co-stars Amy Madigan (Harris’ real-life wife!), Bill Pullman, Juliet Brett and Glenne Headly courtesy of The New Group, then catch the production, beginning off-Broadway performances October 25 at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row!
