How to Be a New Yorker is packing its bags and moving to the newly renovated Planet Hollywood in Times Square! The zany off-Broadway comedy, written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, opens October 19 at Planet Hollywood’s brand new Screening Room Theater.
Directed by Robert Ross Parker, How to Be a New Yorker teaches audience members everything they need to know about what it takes to be a bona fide citizen of the Big Apple. From the instinct for disdainful glances to the peevish muttering and innate rudeness that distinguish true New Yorkers, the comedy show covers it all. How to Be a New Yorker originally premiered at Sofia’s Downstairs Theater off-Broadway. The production features set design by Nick Francone and costume design by Janell Clingenpeel.
