Weekend Poll Top Three: Fans Want to Head to the Land of Lola This Halloween

With Halloween around the corner, we know theater lovers are hard at work brainstorming the perfect Broadway-themed costumes. Since everybody’s undoubtedly worn Elphaba, the Phantom and Stacee Jaxx outfits, we polled you to find out which costume you think is great from the current crop of Broadway offerings. The results are in, so get out the six-inch heels, jazz hands and ball gowns and take a look below.

1. Lola, Kinky Boots - 27%
There is no surprise here. Fab drag diva Lola (played by Tony winner Billy Porter) has it all: sequins, chiffon, jaunty hats and thigh-high stilettos. Take notes from Gregg Barnes’ eye-popping, Tony-nominated costumes, and then sashay your way into your Halloween Party and let everyone know that sex really is in the heel!


2. Leading Player, Pippin - 22%
Got your straw hat, cane and biceps ready? The skintight outfit of the Leading Player (played by Tony winner Patina Miller) may require an acrobatic workout to pull off, but you’ll certainly find some magic to do in this costume. 


3. Cinderella, Cinderella  – 16%
Who doesn’t want to be a princess for a day? Step into Tony nominee Laura Osnes’ glass slippers and Prince Charming will definitely not be leaving you in your own little corner for long.
