Sharr White's The Snow Geese, starring Tony winners Mary-Louise Parker and Victoria Clark and four-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, officially opens on October 24 at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
Directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan, The Snow Geese is set during World War I and centers on newly widowed Elizabeth Gaesling (Parker), who gathers her family for a shooting party in upstate New York. As her carefree eldest son faces deployment overseas and her younger son discovers that his late father left the family deeply in debt, Elizabeth must let go of the Gilded Age life she has always known.
In addition to Parker, Clark and Burstein, the Manhattan Theatre Club production also stars Christopher Innvar, Evan Jonigkeit, Brian Cross and Jessica Love.
The Snow Geese features scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier and projection design by Rocco DiSanti.
