It was a sad day for Broadway fans everywhere on November 14, when Evita favorite Rachel Potter was put on the chopping block on the TV competition series The X Factor. Having to sing for survival completely blindsided Potter, who later told Zap2it.com, "I was like yeah, I've got this. I just started to relax and feel like that was fine. I even picked an outfit that I didn't think I'd have to sing in." But after the votes had been tallied, the Broadway alum fought hard to maintain a spot in the top 10, and her emotional performance of Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On” got the studio audience cheering. But was it enough to keep her in the competition? (Spoiler alert…) Unfortunately, no—Potter was, sadly, eliminated at the end of the episode.
