Three-time Tony nominee Dee Hoty is making a welcome return to the New York stage in a limited engagement of Merle Good’s new play The Preacher and the Shrink. Hoty plays the title psychiatrist, who is called on to uncover the truth after a young woman makes a sexual accusation against her pastor dad—who, in turn, develops a crush on the good doctor. Steven Yuhasz’s production opened on November 18 at the Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row, and we’ve got a Hot Shot (above, by Katy Wadsworth) of Good, cast members Nicholas Urda, Mat Hostetler, and Hoty, director Yuhasz and cast members Adria Vitlar and Tom Galantich. Get tickets to see them off-Broadway through January 4!
