Gandalf the Grey was visited by two very special elves (well, one elf and one half-elf) at the Cort Theatre! Stage and screen fave Ian McKellen had a super-sized celebration on November 24, when Waiting For Godot and No Man’s Land, playing in repertory, both opened on Broadway. Tons of his Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit co-stars took the trip to New York City to cheer on their beloved wizard, including rock-and-roll daughter Liv Tyler and newly minted Broadway star Orlando Bloom, currently appearing in Romeo and Juliet. Broadway.com photographer Bruce Glikas snapped this exclusive photo of the three stars hanging out backstage after the opening night performance of Godot. Check out this adorable Hot Shot, then see McKellen in person (sans the long Gandalf beard, of course) in both No Man’s Land and Waiting For Godot!
