Gotcha! Murder For Two to Release Original Cast Recording

Murder For Two is killing audiences off-Broadway at New World Stages and now the whodunit musical comedy, starring Jeff Blumenkrantz and Brett Ryback will be immortalized in a cast recording. Ghostlight Records will release the album digitally on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 and the CD will hit stores February 11.

Directed by Scott Schwartz, Murder For Two features a book by Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair, music by Kinosian and lyrics by Blair. The hit musical opened November 6 and is playing a limited engagement through March 16. The production stars one actor investigating the crime (Ryback), while the other plays all thirteen suspects (Blumenkrantz). Both actors also play the piano!

The Murder For Two cast album will feature tracks including: “Waiting in the Dark,” “Dahlia Whitney,” “A Perfectly Lovely Surprise,” “Murray and Barb Flandon” “It Was Her,” “A Lot Woise,” and “Steph Whitney”. The CD will feature an essay by Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, along with a synopsis, complete lyrics and exclusive photos.
