Kyle Dean Massey Returns to Dance Through Life as Fiyero in Broadway’s Wicked

Kyle Dean Massey returns to Oz! The star will begin performances December 17 in Wicked, reprising the role of Fiyero in the Broadway cast. Massey succeeds Derek Klena, who is departing to star in the forthcoming Broadway musical The Bridges of Madison County beginning January 17, 2014. Klena is slated to play his final performance in Wicked December 15.

In addition to Wicked, Massey has appeared on Broadway in Next to Normal and Xanadu. His off-Broadway credits include Altar Boyz and Lucky Guy. His film and TV appearances include The Good Wife, Inside Amy Schumer, Hart of Dixie, Up All Night, Sex and the City 2, Contest and Cupid.

Massey joins Lindsay Mendez as Elphaba, Alli Mauzey as Glinda, Tom McGowan as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, Carol Kane as Madame Morrible, Michael Wartella as Boq and John Schiappa as Dr. Dillamond. Directed by Joe Mantello, the hit musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman.
