Berkshire summers are heading to the Big Apple! Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced the first round of participants for the inaugural WTF Cabaret Series at 54 Below. A revolving cast of festival vets including Broadway favorites Lauren Molina and Amy Spanger will appear in cabaret performances running at the Times Square hot-spot January 15, 2014 through 18.
Alongside Molina and Spanger, the rotating cast will include Festival vets and familiar Broadway faces such as Todd Almond, Becky Ann Baker, Jessica Hecht (The Assembled Parties), Greg Hildreth (Cinderella), Joe Iconis, Jacob Ming Trent and Euan Morton. A complete line-up for each performance will be announced at a later date.
For 60 years, stars of stage and screen have worked alongside America’s next generation of up and comers at the Tony-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival. For the first time ever, directed by longtime WTF music director Kris Kukul, the Festival’s legendary Late-Night Cabaret brings its post-performance atmosphere to the Big Apple in the WTF Cabaret Series.
