If you thought all you wanted for Valentine’s Day next year was a box of chocolates and some flowers, we’re about to prove you completely wrong! Emmy and Grammy-nominated composer and performer Michael Feinstein will be joined by Tony nominee Laura Osnes in a one-night-only concert at Carnegie Hall on February 14, 2014. Valentines Day has never sounded sweeter!
For his special Valentine's Day performance, Feinstein will be joined by another guest star, to be announced in due course. The show is a part of Carnegie Halls’ The Originals series, which raises the curtain on several icons of the Great White Way and the Great American Songbook. Other evenings will include performances by luminaries including Patti LuPone and Kristin Chenoweth.
Feinstein's Broadway credits include All About Me, Michael Feinstein in Concert: Piano and Voice, Isn't it Romantic and Michael Feinstein in Concert. Feinstein's numerous albums include Live at the Algonquin, Remember, Isn't it Romantic, and Over There, all of which feature Feinstein's signature interpretations of American and Broadway songbook standards. His many other credits include scoring the original music for the film Get Bruce and performing on TV series such as Better With You, Caroline in the City, Melrose Place, Coach, Cybil and 7th Heaven.
