After premiering her debut single “Cannonball” last year, Lea Michele has shared another new track titled “Battlefield!” The song serves as the second promotional/buzz single off of her upcoming debut album Louder, which is scheduled for release on March 4 via Columbia Records. Once again written by Sia, “Battlefield” is a haunting piano ballad with Michele delivering a heart-breaking and emotional vocal, singing about a relationship unraveling, with lyrics like, “Peace will come when one of us puts down the gun.” Unlike the more theatrical “Cannonball,” this song feels much more raw and helps you separate Michele from her Glee persona Rachel Berry.
